As a professional ornithologist, I am involved in societies that are dedicated to the study and conservation of birds – especially the American Ornithological Society (formerly American Ornithologists’ Union and Cooper Ornithological Society). Annual meetings are a great way to see cutting edge research and interact with other ornithologists at all career levels. See Professional Service.
